In the 1980s, Dr. Ogonna Anaagudo-Agu from Calabar, Nigeria, developed a script for the Igbo language, which was partly based on traditional Uli symbols. The author did not manage to promote it widely, and it is not clear whether it is still being used, for what purposes, or by whom.
